If you get desperate trying to remove the crank seal without damage to block or crankshaft, this might help:
The new seal from Porsche is marked KACO with part DG 60 85 10R02
Outer diameter is 85mm (presumably the 85 in p/n) but the inner lip diameter
measures 58mm. Maybe 60mm is the crank diameter where the seal sits when the lip
is pushed outward slightly against spring pressure? Seal length 10mm.

There is some discussion about how far the seal should go in.... it should be flush with the block.
