When fitting a new tire on the wheel (rim) the mechanic uses pressured air to inflate the new tire quickly so that it settles to the side walls of the rim. With any tire, pressures up to 10 bar can be used.

However....

If your car is equipped with RDK sensors the pressure to put into the tire is max 5bar !! And NOT 10 bar.... high pressure will collapse and damage the pressure sensor in the rim.
