The S4 headlight assembly has two small filler plates that close the gap between the actual headlight unit and the bumper body.

These assemblies sometimes tend to get black dirty stains. You may want to clean those but it is stained between the two layers that form the plastic module. So how do we get those apart?

Try not to crack them. The trick is two little clamps or "ridges" on the outer piece that hold the inner piece to the outer piece. One on the top side and one on the bottom side. Use a very sharp blade to press in between and gently make the inner piece jump over the ridge. Them hold it and work on the other side. {Patience. It works.
