We tried the metal foil but could not find anything that worked and at a reasonable cost. So we went with a vinyl type of material that was compatible with the environment and temperature - especially on the top of the rad. Tried to match the gold as close as possible bearing in mind the different materials. Works very well indeed.
They were exact copies of the originals from the later cars and had square corners or a very tiny radius which was not worth the extra tooling to replicate. Earlier decals had much larger radiuses on the corners.
On the GTS the "High Energy" seem to be mostly yellow and not gold.
Open to all suggestions.
