I visited all of these museums in the past few years, I recommend them all!

The Porsche Museum is located at the Zuffenhausen plan. It is tucked down a side street. It isn't very big, but they have a lot of great cars that they rotate through, so if you go one month and return a few months later, you'll see different cars.

The address is:

I also recommend visiting the Mercedes Benz museum in Stuttgart, it is larger and has a very nice display, from horseless carrages all the way up to recent models.

Mercedesstrasse 137/1

When traveling by car, simply follow the signs with the sports stadium symbol. Right across from the stadium, you'll come to "Tor 1" (Gate 1) and the visitors' car park. Buses commute between the car park and the museum on the company premises.

If you arrive by train, please take a taxi or the "S-Bahn" rapid transit train line S1 to the "Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion" stop.

A very nice private museum is the Deutsche Auto Museum in Langenburg.

And, not to forget the Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim e.V.
IMAX 3D Filmtheater
Museumsplatz

Following its grand opening in 1981 the Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim (the greatest private museum in Europe) has meanwhile developed into on of the major tourist attractions in Germany. Situated on an area of over 30.000m² indoors, and in open-air grounds comprising in excess of 50.000m², we are offering you more than 3.000 exhibits. Among them 300 vintage cars, 200 motorbikes, 40 race- and sports cars, 27 locomotives, 50 airplanes, 150 tractors, steam engines and trucks. Due to the addition of an IMAX 3D giant screen theater to our museum as well as numerous further attractions we are pulling an annual crowd of more than a million visitors.

Most of the vintage cars are fully roadworthy loans from private persons and companies; they are being exercised on a regular basis and are often exchanged for different models. This enables us to constantly offer new rarities to our visitors for their enjoyment and admiration.
