Starting to remove the intakes on my 90'S4, but I can't figure out how to remove the black plastic insulated fuel rail covers.

Inspection mirror shows a few blue plastic snap-in connectors on the outboard underside, but I really can't see much under there.

Do they remove with the injectors as a unit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

===================

there should be 2 ALLEN bolts on each rail cover. Undo those and the cover lifts off. If you have the insulated covers with foam under them, they may be stuck a bit and harder to remove. The injector and rail wont move they are securely anchored to the intake manifold and via the rubber O rings on the injectors.

And the foam will disintegrate.
